Fully vs Semi-Synthetic Oil
semi synthetic will do you just fine (in my opinion) i feel its more than up to the job, if you were doing trackdays every other weekend i'd say put 'fully' in. the downside to 'fully' is A, the cost B, it can cause clutch slip on cold engines (in certain conditions) [richie@fireblade-owners]
I agree a good quality semi- synthetic oil changed regularly is fine but if the bike was run on fully synthetic you really need to flush it out before changing to semi and vice versa. [John@fireblade-owners]
