no !!! ... I cant believe it. Well I guess given his moody disposition over the last few years, that an exit like this wasnt out of the question. I havent read any velo-news for the last week or so, so your blog-link was the 1st I heard about it. I've got a soft-spot for climbers, and Marco is the only rider to have a presence (photo) on my office wall. I imagine if I spoke any Italian I might be able to voice my distress a little more colourfully, but this is 'Very sad' indeed. :-(
