DeeKnow’s Grotto

On Saturday night Kym and I attended the wedding of our good friends David and Sasha

Don't have any photos at the minute coz my camera is locked away in their house (I think) while they're on their honeymoon, but my memory of the night is uncharacteristically clear for an evening spent with the two of them.

The bride was beautiful, the groom resplendent in his $100,000.00 suit, the ceremony was light hearted and fun, dinner was awesome (helps when you've got good and generous friends in the hospo trade), speeches entertaining and there was plenty of merriment well into the wee hours of the morning.

Basically an all round cracker! ... but of course it was always gonna be.

For a couple of unorthodox characters like Dave and Sash the wedding was always gonna have its share of unique features, but it also turned out to include a healthy dose of classic kiwi wedding elements which I thought was "bloody brilliant" (to use a Davism).
