DeeKnow’s Grotto

We had our work xmas do this year out at the Hamilton Zoo on Friday night and despite what the weather Gods threw at us it seemed to go without a hitch and everyone seemed to have enjoyed the night. I did cop an earfull from Kym regarding the effect the wind was having on her hair style. Never did find out quite how *I* was responsible.

It was a bloody good venue actually, they kept the zoo open for an extra hour just for us so we could cruise round and catch the evening feeding of various animals guided by the fantastically moustachioed Professor Plum. We then tucked into our own carniverous feast sheltering from the rain under the marquee.

Scariest sight of the evening was Graham emerging as Santa Claus scaring the living Jesus outta the poor kids before bribing them with gifts. Shouldnt mock too much really coz I was lucky not to be doing the job myself when I ended up custodian of the corporate Santa outfit after Kerry Jones left work and dumped it in my office.
