Just me and Sister Gibbs

At the Eastie today over lunch we somehow got onto the subject of womens lingerie, which logically took us onto the finer points of Kylie Minogues anatomy, and eventually led me to mention that Pederson had once met the little darling in the UK when she was working over there. While on the subject I also informed my eager vicarious star watchers that Kym had also met Kylies sister Danni. More murmers of approval were heard from the lads

As the conversation took a different turn I stuggled to remember the other star Kym has claimed to have met, and tonight while we were at the supermarket queried her on the subject. It turns out that apart from the Minogues she has also met Melissa Etheridge, Marlin Brando and Mel Meninga (better known as smell-my-finger).

But the star de resistance would have to be the coiincidental acknowledgement (some sort of dykey eye-brow raise) she got from our glorious leader Ms Clark today as she walked by Kym's desk out at the Waikato Times office this afternoon. And that's not the only time she's seen the 1st lady out at Te Rapa.

All this star-meeting just pisses me off. The nearest I got to meeting a celebrity the whole 3 years I lived in the UK was sitting across the isle in the Tube one day from Sister Gibbs of 80's Aussie TV drama young-doctors. Not the most thrilling of encounters. In fact I was always bloody terrified of her so it was a pretty uncomfortable moment.
