DeeKnow’s Grotto

We've just got in from riding in the annual mass motorbike run from Cambridge to Hamilton which was wicked !!!. It's organised by the Ulysses Motorcycle club and is a fund-rasier for the child-cancer fund (foundation?) and had an official turnout of 870 or so bikes, plus the slackers like us who turned up half way into the ride which must have put it well over 900.

It was a pretty friggin spectacular site, literally miles of bikes of all descriptions stretched along the highway between the two towns. Loads of people along the roadside with their kids waving and hundreds of car-drivers in town stressing out as they were held up at intercections waiting for the procession to pass.

There were a number of kids being doubled in the run who are suffering from cancer, and they definately seemed to be enjoying themselves. I popped the digital camera in my jacket and we managed to snap some photos on the road and in the car-park at the end of the ride.
