Australia is Irrelevant (link)
John Howard

Aussies are never shy at boasting about their accomplishments, especially when it comes to sport, but you dont often hear them criticise themselves or admit that others have done so.

Which is why I was amazed to see the following reported in the Sydney Morning Herald site yesterday...

"Iraqi deputy Prime Minister, Tariq Aziz, yesterday dismissed Australia's role in the war. Discussing how the US and Britain had maneuvered themselves into a war against Iraq, he broke his argument for this aside: "I won't speak about Australia because it is irrelevant."

I couldn't agree more Tariq, Brilliant !!!  :-)

Last week I was reading about this whole Iraq-thing polarising online gaming communities, then Wednesday there's this article posted at Wired about a seller on the EBay trading site refusing to sell items to Canadians. Apparently...

"A Georgia computer vendor won't honor an online auction sale to a buyer from British Columbia, citing Canada's lack of support for the war in Iraq."

His message announcing his refusal to sell included classic stuff like...

"At the present time, we do not ship to, or accept bids from, Canada, Mexico, France, Germany or any other country that does not support the United States in our efforts to rid the world of Saddam Hussein. If you are not with us, you are against us."
